Team Inspire by Srishti Innovative successfully conducted an insightful Parent Counselling Session on Digital Addiction at St. Antony’s UPS, aimed at creating awareness among parents about the growing impact of excessive digital usage on children’s behaviour, learning, and emotional well-being.
The session was led by Ajay Sreedhar, UNDP-Certified Soft Skill & Life Skill Trainer, who addressed the challenges parents face in managing screen time and digital dependency among young children. The session focused on helping parents understand how digital addiction develops, its early warning signs, and its long-term effects on attention, social interaction, sleep patterns, and academic performance.
Parents were guided on practical strategies to create healthy digital boundaries at home, encourage balanced routines, and promote meaningful offline engagement. The discussion also emphasized the importance of parental role-modeling, open communication, and emotional connection in helping children develop self-control and responsible digital habits.
