How often do students talk about stress openly?
Between assignments, exams, expectations, and personal goals, stress quietly becomes part of student life. But understanding it — and learning how to manage it — makes all the difference between pressure and performance.
That was the focus of the recent session at Kaviyatt College of Education, where students engaged in an honest conversation about emotional balance, self-awareness, and practical stress management strategies.
Vishnu Prasad, Senior HR Professional and UNDP-Certified Soft Skill & Life Skill Trainer, guided the interaction with relatable examples and real-life situations. Instead of treating stress as something negative, the session reframed it as something that can be understood, managed, and redirected productively.
Students explored how stress affects focus, decision-making, behaviour, and confidence. Simple yet powerful techniques around time management, emotional control, and mindset shifts helped them see that resilience is a skill that can be developed.
The session created a safe and interactive space where students reflected on their own experiences and shared perspectives openly. Conversations like these, facilitated through initiatives of Team Inspire by Srishti Innovative, aim to strengthen not just academic readiness but emotional well-being too.
